    Bello Mafioso was born Jason Tarpin during the Fall of 1986 in San Diego, California. He has been also referred to as the “Brasilian Sicilian”, “De Big Bambino”, “Mafio”, or simply “JT”. Bello Mafioso is a direct Product of the San Diego Southern California Lifestyle and Culture. Bello epitomizes The West Coast Culture by practicing and partaking in many Classic Southern California Traditions Such as: Enjoying The Real California Cash Crop, The Surf/Skate/Snow Culture and the Wild Wild West “Im Gonna Get Mine” Mentality. Bello Mafio also embraces each of his 10 different ethnic backgrounds and currently enjoys the benefits of being Both an American and Brazilian Citizen. Bello Embodies the spirit of the Mixed Immigrant that is especially typical in the “Melting Pot” of California.

    As an Up & Coming Recording Artist, Full Time Student, Part Time Employee, & Full Time Hustler, Bello Mafioso still found time to Release his first ever Project on July 24th Summer of ’09. The Project is a Mixtape and consists of 14 Tracks. The Summer Mixtape is Titled “Irie Eyes” and is just the very beginning of a Long Musical Career Ahead of Bello Mafioso. Surprisingly, Bello Mafioso has had little to no direction in his short Musical Career, Including no musical training and has never had any type of Guidance as an MC, But still managed to executively Produce “Irie Eyes” as well as Rap on Every track and Compose more than half the Songs: THIS IS RAW!

     After attending USD in Fall of 2010 Jason Tarpin  finally received 2 semesters of formal musical training on notation and piano playing, finally commencing his era as a Producer. Along with much of his formal training, Bello Mafio spent much of his time in late 2010/early 2011 developing musical skill sets as a creator of Music, while also using the academic approach learned from USD to consider and elaborate upon some of the deepest seeded motives associated with the Rhetoric of Music, and more specifically the Rhetoric of Hip-Hop. Bello Mafioso’s optimism, dedication and love for Music promises a long musical career spanning from Producing, Rapping, Singing, Song Writing, FIlm, and Film Score.

    In 2011 on January 14th, Bello Mafioso Released his 2nd Mixtape titled OuttaLessons? in which he states, “it represents many things , feelings, motives, and attitudes present in our culture, but for me it represents my Adolescents as a Rapper and producer of this truly raw art form; Hip-Hop”. The Mixtape OuttaLessons? was released online and is still available to download for free on mediafire.

    After Studying abroad in Paris for the summer of 2011, Bello Mafioso will release his 3rd and most important mitxtape to date. “This mixtape will finally be a example of my future skills to come as a Rapper/Producer but also it will showcase my creativity that might confuse a few people.” - Bello Mafioso
